How can cricket fans make their Dream11 team for the Australia vs Sri Lanka Women’s T20 World Cup game? See the marquee details.
You can’t get better than this, with the Women’s T20 World Cup going smoothly and gaining attention. Now, the fifth match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is coming up between Australia vs Sri Lanka. The match will take place at the famous Sharjah Stadium. There is no doubt that the chances of Australia coming out on top are high, but we can expect a potential turnaround from the Sri Lankan players.
Summing up the anticipated game, on one hand, Sri Lanka is coming into the match after a 31-run defeat against Pakistan, but now they have a chance to make a ‘turnaround.’ If they manage to do so against the Australian women, it won’t just benefit them on the table, but it will also provide a significant morale boost if they can defeat the six-time champions. For Australia, this is their first game of the tournament, and Alyssa Healy and her team will look to maintain their reputation as the big guns. It is important to note that this will be Alyssa’s first major assignment.
Looking at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, chances are high that we may see an even contest between bat and ball. However, there might be some sluggishness on the pitch, which could benefit medium pacers or spinners. As for the weather, there’s no need to worry as there is a low chance of rain, and it is forecasted to be warm with clear skies.
